We are a family-owned hotel and take pride in creating a welcoming environment. Our rooms are thoughtfully designed, and in our cozy restaurant you can enjoy a delicious dinner in peace and quiet.
Whether you’re looking to pass the time between meetings, waiting for a flight, or simply unwind, we have plenty to offer. Our spacious gym and relaxation area with a sauna are always included during your stay. When the weather is nice, our outdoor spaces are perfect for soaking up the sun. For those who enjoy a bit of competition, we also have boules courts and shuffleboards – a favorite among guests.
Landvetter Airport Hotel was founded back in 1987 by Lilian Engström, who had previously run two souvenir shops in the airport terminal. After a few years, Lilian realized there was a demand for overnight accommodations, which marked the beginning of a successful journey. Initially, the hotel had 44 rooms, but today it has grown to 184 rooms, all still furnished in a sleek, Scandinavian design.
The hotel is now run by Lilian's son, Lars-Göran, and his wife Linda. Their passion for art and design is reflected throughout the hotel and in the rooms.
"We want our hotel to feel like a second home for our guests," explains Linda. "Beautiful paintings adorn the walls, and together with textiles and designer furniture, it creates beautiful, welcoming and inspiring environments that bring warmth and joy to everyone who stays, conferences and visits us."
The Engström family also operates the conference facility Gårda Konferens and is a co-owner of Nösund Havshotell på Orust.
